I don't know the title or even the season. It's a very recognizable one. The agents are sent to a large forest, like the Pacific NW in the US. There is a confrontation between loggers and conservationists. Then it seems that swarms of small insects are set free when a very very old timber is cut down. The larvae were in one of the rings. These insects operate in darkness, cocooning and desiccating humans caught out after dark. So every one involved takes shelter in a cabin with only one light bulb and a limited supply of gas for the generator. The rest of the show they are trying to get a Jeep working to escape during the day. My question is, if the insects were afraid of light why didn't they just burn firewood or set the whole forest on fire to save themselves?
