I am considering investing in small private companies that build technologies for greenhouses. My investment calculations say that with the increased price in energy we have reached a threshold where more vegetables can be grow in greenhouses closer to their actual consumption location, and be quite profitable in doing it. I am also using this same assumption to estimate that vertical growing technologies might become cost viable in the near future as well, but have not worked thru the calculations for basic commodities yet...
