B Brendan New member Nov 4, 2011 #1 is the starter to an 87 V6 ford ranger the same as the starter to an 89 4 cylinder ford ranger both manual transmissions. I was wondering if I could put the starter from the 87 V6 model onto the 89 4 cylinder model with out any problems?
