I never understand half the things said in these old movies. They talk so fast, and complicated it's tough. But for some reason this really struck me as odd
Just a piece from the movie:
"Well, what kind of bed's this-one of those collapsible things?
Does it feel all right?
Oh, wonderful, honey, I don't like a bed that gives much.
But Stella! There's no door between the two rooms,
and Stanley-will it be decent?
Stanley is Polish, you know.
Oh, yes. Something like Irish, isn't it?"
What the WORLD did it mean when she said he's polish? Like they don't have sex? :/
Then what did she mean when she said, "Oh, yes. Something like Irish?"
Very confusing. help! haha
