Question about a 97 Dodge Stratus?

So I go to pull out of my driveway, and the car just turns off. Won't start back up for nething. The oil light came on, dad thinks it's the coil cause it's getting no spark, get a new coil....doesent fix it. Is this too hard to tell wh at it can be?
 
Well sounds like the best thing to do is get a new car.
By getting it fixed you are spending just as much money!
 
Could be Crank Position Sensor if you have no distributor,
Coil,
ASD Relay Shuts off fuel and spark if no ignition pulse is detected
Hall Effect pickup inside distributor

Would be helpful to run an engine fault code scan tool to know what you have.
