question about 2000 ford expedition?

we have a ford expedition 2000 model and there's a problem with its airconditioning system.

instead the air is coming from the panel, it comes from the holes in the bottom of the windshield inside the car.

what seems to be the problem?

have you encountered in your car before?
 
The blend door is probably not operating. Possible causes;
1)- vacuum leak
2)- blend door actuator
3)- climate control or selector switch.
