Question about 2 in 1 paints and window painting!! Help, lol?

I asked this in the decorating/remodeling section, but wanted to ask this here as most of the remodeling for this house will be a DIY project, and I wanted to get some feedback from people in this section as well!

First question: My husband and I are moving into a new home that needs some SERIOUS painting inside. The people that lived there before basically plastered the inside of the house with OSU grey and red, lol. I have no problem with someone loving their team, etc... BUT, I'm not a football person, I'm not a red person, and it's not the first thing I wanna see when I get up in the morning, nor is it the first thing I want my company to see when they walk in the door, lol.

That said, my first question is this: I know red can be more difficult to cover up then some other colors. Will the 2 in 1 paints they make work (the paints that are primer and color all in one can), or would I be better to stick with the traditional way of covering it up? Any suggestions to best cover this up would be greatly appreciated!!!

My second question is about painting a window: We have one room that's going to be my office and a spare bedroom. I want to paint the window using blue and green, in a way that the light will still go through but catch the colors. Almost like a stained glass window effect. However, I have no idea how to do this so that I can still clean the window, NO idea what type of paint to use that will last through cleanings without fading, chipping, etc... Any tips, suggestions, etc... about this would also be greatly appreciated!! Thanks for reading! =)
