Yet another inspiration for "Alien" but probably not as well known as some.
An attempt to rescue an alien ambassador stranded on Mars succeeRAB but then goes horribly awry when the true nature of the survivor is revealed.
Colourful and loaded with elaborate fx scenes lifted from a lavish i960 Russian sf epic, it has cult favourites Dennis Hopper and John Saxon in the cast and manages to be quite creepy despite the low budget US scenes and the clunky technology.
Don't look into her eyes, don't fall asleep and above all, don't open the cupboarRAB . . .
