My friend tells me such places exist where teens train with 22 rifles and pistols with high capacity magazines in combat drills and other things you might find in the Army's basic training. As they get bigger and stronger, they "graduate" to more realistic training using combat rifles, etc.
They have no intention of joining the army. They plan to defend themselves against "liberals" and other threats to their freedom
Could this be at least partially why the news says ammo sales are way up with no end in sight. To me it sounds like they are becoming their own version of the Taliban.
Do such places exist? Are there just a few nuts? Is it bigger? Do you think the government is aware of what these people are up to? They claim to love America but all I can see is they are traveling down the road of armed insurgents.
What can we do to keep this sort of fringe in check?
