You all know that the 2nd quantum number is (L) l = n -1. What would happen to the periodic table/what would be the result if hypothetically speaking l = n + 1. How would that effect the third quantum number (ml) and how would the peroidic table move/look like if this ever happens? I got this question on a test and i just want to know what the correct answer is.
