Q about getting a 6 foot tank with 6 millimetre glass. Could it break?

I buying a tank with the following measurements. Im a little concerned about the glass thickness.

6 foot long, 18 inch wide, 18 inch tall. 380 litres or 100 gals.

10 millimetre thick glass on the base and 6 up the sides. Is this a good tank or should i be worried about the glass breaking?

The setup is $550 base tank and hood. I think its resonably priced and it brand new (made for me actully) from the LFS. Any input on glass guys? Thanks
 
6mm is minimal for that tank size, I would have it made with 10mm.
The 6mm should hold but will be less likely to stand shock - even a cichlid spitting a stone could crack stressed glass.
