putting movies on my android?

yeah i have been trying to put movies on my droid and i have gotten astro file from the app store and made a file called movies and from my computer downloaded the movie and everything worked fine.....except when i went to play the movie there is sound but no image and then after a few seconds it says the video cannt be played. just want to know what im doing wrong and if anybody can tell me he ay to do it....thanks so much
