Put a new deck in 1997 Ford Taurus, midrange speakers don't work?

I had a new Jensen deck put in my car by a friend certified for car audio and now the midrange speaked on the front doors don't work. The woofers in the back, and the tweeters in the front work fine, but the midrange woofers don't put out any sound. What could be the cause?
