Yeah, but there is nothing original about Heroes either. This movie is just another one of many similarly themed movies/shows that have come and gone over the years (Heroes, The 4400 & Mutant X to name a few).

Saw the trailer a few weeks ago and have liked the look of it ever since, doesn't matter if it is similar to Heroes. Heroes isn't exactly amazing...

Heroes might not be an original idea, but it did bring some different ideas to the "people with abilities" story. This, based on the trailer, just looks like a 2-hour episode of Heroes.

I didn't even recognise Dakota at first, she's grown up a lot.

It is clearly a rip-off of the concept of heroes which they arent even trying to hide but the real kicker that is bugging me is the fact that they havent pushed the envelope ..You would think with this being an actual movie the budget would be higher and the trailer would look spectacular (think the watchmen)

But this seriously looks like a (feature length) made for tv (or st8 to dvd) type movie disguised as a blockbuster
