pursue a computer forensic career from a military school?

am planning to re-start my college career by transferring to the "military school of georgia", North Georgia College and State University. I really want to pursue a career in computer forensics after finding out that the college offers a major of that sort. I will be a cadet in training at NGCSU, but I am not planning to enter the military after graduation. I am doing it for 1) I want the structure and practice of strong work ethic that cadet training would give me and 2) I heard that the majorit of computer forensic jobs are in the government and military (or at least a majority of the starting jobs).

I think it would be really cool to pursue this proffession in working within the military. I have researched and learned that the military generally do not hire active duty military personal (officers,luetinets...) as computer forensic personell but more so of normal civilians. Do you think I would have a better chance of getting a job such as this within the military being a normal civilian BUT coming from a well known military school?
