Purchasing a 94' Mazda Miata?

I am purchasing one for $800 cause I really need a car to get to and from work ...its has 200,000miles, but seems to be in very good condition from the pictures and what I was told, so Im goin friday to take a look. My question is first of all ...good deal? and 2nd ... How much would it cost to do some nice interior work in it and make it actually look pretty sporty and clean! I havent had any experience or know anyone who has owned one so any advice would be appreciated!
 
$800 is a pretty good price for a 94. Miatas can go strong for well over 200000 miles. If it's in good condition I'd go for it. Miatas are great little cars.
