I recently purchased a used '87 Toyota 4x4 Truck in Colorado in a private sale with a bill of sale stating "as is" and "no grantees or warranties." It didn't pass emissions, and I think because of the bill of sale it's my problem to fix it to pass. However, someone told me that in Colorado it is the responsibility of the seller to make the repairs for it to pass emissions. Who's responsible?
