I recently heard an old friend of mine was arrested for a class c felony (check forgery) in WA state. He has a record for theft and a hit and run/driving without a license. He also does a lot of drugs and may have had some on him during the arrest, but i'm not sure. Oh, and he owes about $6000 in fines to the court system already. He's 23/24 years old.
My question is basically what will happen to him? What would bail look like? Will he get prison time for this? A fine?
I haven't spoken to or seen him in months so i'd rather not try to contact mutual friends/family members for information. I don't even know who else knows...a friend works security where he worked/got arrested and told me.
