Punch biopsy?

Has anyone ever had a punch biopsy done?
There is a good chance I may have to get one, and am wondering about the procedure. Have no idea of what to expect.

What was the reason for your punch biopsy, if you don't mind saying? I may need to have on for NSF..nephrogenic systemic fibrosis....which was because I was injected with a gadolinium dye during an MRI of the inner ear.

Had two moles removed and the path came back as abnormal. So they took a larger area out via the punch. It came out clear.
