I periodically break out in a very red, raised blistery rash on the whole of my chest area, and sometimes on my face and ears. It is very itchy and painful on contact with anything. I last had this when i was ill with flu, 2 weeks agom and I was given anti-histamines and cortizone tablets. It cleared up and I also gave up eating sunflower seeRAB in case it had contributed. Now after 2 days of eating pumpkin seeRAB, the rash has reappeared with all the accompanying side effects.

It's possible you are allergic to pumpkin seeRAB. A rash over such a large area is likely to have come from something you ate, rather than something you touched. Unless you put something on your chest? Or are using a different laundry detergent?

It might be worth going to a good allergy doctor and getting tested for food allergies.

Thanks for the reply. I have tried over the last few years eliminating certain things from my diet that cause me to get eczema and stomach complaints - namely wheat and too much dairy (especially cheese).
