Pulling a trailer with a 2002 Buick Lesabre?

The online manuals only go down to 2005 but those are still the same as a 2002. It said do not exceed 1,000lbs. Which isn't very much. There isn't much on the rear of those Lesabres so if you have 2 grown men in the back seat a lone almost causes the bumper to drag. So you have to add the weight of the hitch & the trailer your towing & that shouldn't be over 1,000lbs. Anymore will put some serious stress on your powertrain.

I would like to know if I can pull a pop up camper with a 2002 Buick lesabre it has the V-6 3800 engine in it, or how big of travel trailer can I pull and what kind of hitch do I need?
