I want to get some of the kids together from my little town and have them meet once or twice a week to write and express their feelings. I'm in high school, and have some of my friends that want to help out with the project. Sooo, I was thinking about asking the local library if we could meet there and do all of that.
Say my friends and I helped the kids write a book about ______ <---- insert clever idea here.
They could draw pictures, or we could cut out pictures they colored to illustrate the book.
After the project is complete, is there any way I could get the book into publishers hands?
How does that work? I'm only 16, so I'm quite clueless. :/ I just really want to inspire these kids
to write their little hearts out. If I had the book published, would each kid be able to make a profit off of it?
Or should I just make copies of the book myself and give each kid the final product?
I think they would be thrilled to see their name inside of a real, professional book...
