Do public performances prove that martial arts schools are authentic? Since it is around chinese new year, and several kung fu schools are doing the lion dance stuff. Most of the lion dancing parades are held on the same parade with other lion dancing teams. Most schools visually appear to be doing the same thing when it comes to lion dancing. Since there are mcdojos/mckwoons out there, would the visual techniques show that a school is legitimate. Since all of the kung fu schools aren't mcdojos/mckwoons would the parade help verify martial arts authenticity?
