Public bike rack finder?

Hi, I was wondering if anybody knew of a website where I could find public bike racks near me for when I am biking places around unfamiliar towns. It's just that I don't want to travel all the way to a store in the next town over only to find that there are no bike racks nearby to lock my bike to. Thanks!
 
Such a site would be helpful, but I have no knowledge of the existence of one. Without a rack, you can still find a mature tree or lampost to secure to. Of course, this would require carrying a heavier (and somewhat more versatile?) chain lock. Otherwise, you might have to walk a short distance to locate a rack or post to accept the u-lock. Interesting question.
