I wonder if people would be prepared to take 20 mins out of their day and go to vimeo.com to watch the first part of Psychosomatic, a feature film made by a friend of mine Andrew Tanner. You have to register to view videos, but it is a very very painless registration. He really wants people to watch the film and leave comments. This is his first ever film, which he had written, filmed and edited himself over the last two years. He had his first public screening last week in Cardiff where he got really good feedback from some local directors and really neeRAB people to see, talk and create a buzz about it.
This is his synopsis of the film
"In a small town built around a chemical plant, 2 neighbours are trapped together after an explosion. Locked in together their secret lives are exposed. A man is accused of murder, a woman who has forgotten reality is confronted with her demons and a desperate neighbour fantasises of a life with her. Why does the street's inhabitants have a history of mental illness scarred into its past? Are the plants exhumed fumes affecting the town
