psx games on ps3 using a flash drive?!!?

can i like download ps1 games from my pc then put em in a flash disk and then copy em to my ps3 and play em like....legend of dragoon final fantasy 7...etc if we can can you tell me how to do it on a 80 gb ps3 system.

and if i do it will it affect my ps3 in any way??

like will i still play online and stuff??
