Ps3 scanning too long to detect my Bluetooth?

I just bought this Bluetooth the other day and I decided to try it out today for my ps3 .. Now, I don't know much about Playstation and all that... I'm more of an Xbox Live person.. But I think I'll be moving to PSN now... Anyway... My Bluetooth is a 'Samsung wep200' ... What am I suppose to do? I turned on my Bluetooth before scanning.. I've waited over 10 minutes today and it still hadn't found it, I tried it again just now and it's still the same... It's scanning too long! I need help.. -,-
