PS3 official bluetooth headset problem?

I have the official bluetooth mic made by sony and i turn it on and it gives me that blue light next to the wireless headset thing in the accessory settings on the ps3 menu meaning its connected, but when i go online to play games it wont show up as if i have a headset, specifically on call of duty it wont show the little symbol of a headset next to my name that shows i have a headset

I have the exact same problem! Sometimes when i play MotorStorm, it works, but only rarely. Sorry I still haven't fixed the problem, but I would suggest asking someone at like Best Buy or something.
