ps3 media sever, not finding media?

Last night i had my PS3 Media Sever working correctly, i was watching videos on my tv from my PC, via ps3 media sever. the media sever is via WindowsMediaPlayer. ive got a router and a direct ethernet connection, i can view some files but not all files, the files i cannot see are comming from a Hard-drive connected to the computer.
