Ps3 media server problem?

Does anyone know of a media server for the ps3 that dosent use java ? i keep trying the one that does use java and my pc seems to think that the java will cause damage to the pc and switches itself off before it thinks the java can do harm, a fix to this would be even better if possible, but another media server would be just as helpful
