in most games when your taking through a headset there will be a mic on the side of your tv screen and everytime the bluetooth hears something you will see a small mic icon on the tv if you see it then its working if not then something is wrong

What you said is true, you can hear people talking, even if you don't have a headset. Now that you have a headset, people may not want to listen to you, which is the reason anyone can mute anyone at anytime.

Just because you have a headset and people don't respond to you doesn't mean there is a problem.. it could mean either they don't want to listen to you and have muted you, or you were giving horrible feedback or music is too loud or screaming in the background, and they just didn't want to listen to it.

I do this all the time. Some people just spew non-sense, some don't understand you don't have to yell into the microphone, some don't understand that I don't want to listen to their music (or fighting in the background or baby crying), while I am playing a game.

I'm not saying you do any of this, but it is a possibility. Sometimes I just want to play a game without hearing anyone talk (even team games that may require communication). Don't assume there is something wrong with your headset.

If you really want to communicate with someone and you think they can't hear you, send them a text message (and ask if they can hear you when you text them). Be warned, they may still lie to you, as I have told people I can't hear them, even if I could (before I muted them).

Online isn't always a pretty place. Thank God for mute.

check if it's connected or not to ur ps3 .

go to accessory settings and see if it's added to ur bluetooth devices.

after that, give it a test.

if it doesn't work, then something's wrong with ur headset.

if u don't have the official sony headset . i'd recommend u 2 get one, it

offers a high-quality sound and it's really good and comfortable.
