I'm interested in how this plays out. I downloaded the demo and its ok. But been reading some stuff from IGN, the latest being the close to complete build of the game. Despite how it looked from the demo, it still has the potential to look amazing.

I think I'll pick it up at launch.

The demo is fun IMO. Still gotta try it with the wheel. What happened to using the PSP as a rear view mirror though? Was that completely scrapped?

So when I first downloaded the demo on launch day there were only 4 drivers and cars available in the demo, and now almost the whole field is available. Wierd.

i played the demo also, i loved it, im a huge f1 fan so that helps. its not the prettiest game out there, but i found it to play real well, turn it to medium or hard and drop most the aids as people said above, and its a blast to play. i will for sure be getting this. i think it looks pretty good, not amazing, but i love the gameplay already, so thats enough for me

that's the stupidest idea ever. what are you going to set it on the table in front of you and glance down at it? what's wrong with having it on screen like every other racing game?

How is that a dumb idea? People complain that games are the same shit over and over, then when something innovative is announced everyone complains about it

It would have been an option, not mandatory. It would've been cool as hell to try out, at the least.

it's a dumb idea because where are you going to put it? you gonna hang it from the ceiling with a string so it's in front of your face to see? or are you gonna put it on your lap so you have to look completely away from the tv to see it? it's a dumb idea because it doesn't bring ANY realism into the game, it's just a stupid way to add a peripheral into it that in the end has a negative effect on the gameplay.

i'm all for innovation, but not when it's just for the sake of innovation. at least have it make sense and work well with the existing game.

Some people have some crazy setups with the wheel and a racing seat. You could definitely work it into that. Or, depending on your setup, you could rest it right on top of the TV with any of the numerous PSP stands.
