PS3 connected through ethernet cable is still lagging! Help!?

Hi, I have a PS3 connected to an ethernet cable from a Modem Router (Modem & Router put together) and it still lags ALOT especially when i play Black OPS, when my search settings are on "Locale Only" the best I get is Yellow Bar.. can someone please help me....?! My download speed is 10Mbps btw.. Thanks ...
