I have been using this duo for about a year now and all of a sudden shit went crazy. They do not seem compatible anymore, I can get sound through my TV via HDMI when using my PS3 and I can play Blu-rays through the Panasonic and get the surround sound but I cannot get surround sound through My PS3. I have tried unhooking and even replacing my Optic cable. Can someone please help? I know its not that big of a deal if I can still get sound through my TV but I would prefer playing my blu-rays through my PS3 (internet) and I would love playing my games through Surround sound. Any ideas will help, Like I said I have been using that duo for about a year so you can be specific if you know a problem. And because I know this will be brought up, Yes, I tried changing my PS3's audio to Optic and messed with the settings a bit and yes I have tried switching the cable from digital output 1 and 2.
