Prostate surgery

I'm about to undergo robotic surgery for prostate cancer and looking for anyone who's gone through with this. I'm wondering about recovering the quality of life issues: maintaining urinary control and sexual function. Just looking for info and advice.

Robotic surgery does not necessarily result in better quality of life outcomes. If your urologist is new to the robot, you will likely have a worse outlook. Please make sure you ask your urologist how many robotic procedures he has done, if the answer is less than 100, I would suggest going elseweher or opting for an open procedure.
