Pros and Cons of the Motorola Backflip...?

I have the LG Vu right now, and I have unlimited texting, internet use, etc. I've heard that you have to get a data plan with the Motorola Backflip, and I wanted to know how the cost for that differed from the cost of internet/MMS fees on a regular phone, and if it would be paying for the data plan AND the internet access. Any other pros and cons on the phone that you know of and I would be forever indebted Thanks!
