On several sites, this model was recommended for teenagers during their first years of driving. I'm 16 and I'm getting my permit soon, so I was just wondering what the positive and negatives were about this car before I make a decision. Thanks a lot!
2008 fit is better in my opinion. The 2009 is bigger and heavier and has less fuel economy then the 2008. The 2009 looks sportier but performance is better than looks. The 2008 gets about 35mpg.
The fit has a lot of interior space and the rear seats can be folded down to make more space.
pros...good gas miliage, 4door, mid to low insurance rate, not so high priced....
cons...looks are ok but not that good of a looker, slow (this could also be a good thing for beginner drivers)
