why does this even matter?

wh dont you just say "I am going to the University of California in Los Angelis tommorow."

Example:

1. I am going to the University of California, Los Angeles tomorrow.

2. I am going to the University of California, Los Angeles, tomorrow.

3. I am going to the University of California Los Angeles tomorrow.

that brings up a second question: is it improper to use the if it is just UCLA?

Ex: I am going to the UCLA tomorrow. doesnt sound right...

and "the" does have to be capitalized with some schools correct; but not UCLA

sorry its late
