Is it "okay" to send out graduation announcements if not inviting them to the "after party"? I'm graduating from college in another state and my parents are throwing me a small party a few weeks later in my old hometown. They can't afford a big party but we would like to know if it's acceptable to send out announcements to friends without adding the invite to the small party.... any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!
