The major lgbt civil rights groups have insisted we wait until 2012.
but the collection of signatures continues for 2010:

They need a total of 700,000 signatures by April 12.
Anyone know how close they are to meeting 700,000?
Are they likely to collect enough signatures for 2010?
Or will it probably wait until 2012?
