proof that god is real besides the bible?

Is there any proof that god is real, that doesn't relate to the bible? I ask this because i dont believe in the bible, as we all believe what we were told from growing up, and i bet we would still believe in santa clause if there was no proof of wither he did or did not exist. Kids born into a islamic family become islamic, or kids in a christian family become christian.

So I ask again, where is the proof besides the bible? Cause honestly, anybody can claim anything.

Jesus christ isnt proof, as we only believe in him because the bible says so.

Miracles are not proof as they can be coincidences.

The bible isnt proof as anyone can write something down and say "God guided me"

People that have dreams saying they saw god are not proof as anyone can dream about anything.

After death experiences are not proof as brain cells are still working and it can be related to dreaming

So were is the real proof? I dont mean to offend anyone, but dont you want to think for yourself and not what other people taught you? If god is real, why would he create us just to send some of us to hell if he truly loved all of us? If god loves all, does he love the people in hell? If he does, why doesn't he send them back to heaven if they are truly sorry? How would the people writing the bible know every little detail that jesus said, and how god created the earth? If god knows everything, why would he create someone knowing they are going to be evil and end up in hell?

Dont give me any "As christians we are just supposed to believe" thats bullsh*t. Im just trying to think for myself.

So where is the proof?

the bible is proof it is the eye witness accounts of men who saw god

creation shows the handiwork of god

just because you do not believe in the bible does not exclude it as proof.

your not looking for proof when you try and exclude everything that actually is proof

There is no more proof of God existing outside of the bible than there is that air is actually made up of invisible flying puppies that you can't see, hear or feel

It is something that cannot be disproven, only proven.. thats why it has lasted so long

I think that there have been some illiterate people who have been saved. It's the Spirit of God. God is esoteric and God's Spirit is dointg things for thsoe he chose from before the world was formed.

Ephesians 1
4 For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love 5 he predestined us for adoption to sonship[c] through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will—

OK

Atheists/non-believers say that they want physical evidence that God exists. Get real! The ancient Jews DID see Christ's miracles, & they STILL didn't believe Jesus, when He said that He was God. Are you atheists/Non-believers really going to try to tell me that you. who AREN'T religious, would believe in God is you saw Him, or a miracle? Not a chance. You would not believe it, no matter what you saw! Why don't you quit lying?

Following Christ is a choice, & one you will never make, no matter how much evidence you have. Be honest with yourself. And this goes for everybody else. You would never believe, because you CHOOSE not to believe.

Nothing short of the Holy Spirit WILL change their lives or opinions.

Here are all the miracles of Christ.

http://www.lifeofchrist.com/life/miracles/

Despite seeing ALL OF these miracles, the Jews STILL didn't believe!

And you are going to try to tell me that you would believe in God, when the jewish leaders, (who were "supposed" to be men of God), DID see them & STILL didn't believe?

And since you don't believe, you aren't any different than those Jewish leaders.

Don't make me laugh!

God will NEVER reveal Himself to you until you CHOOSE to believe, so you can forget about any evidence. It won't happen.

Because of the nature of god, it's existence can't be proven or disproven.

Also: Something doesn't have to be proven in order for people to believe in it. People will believe anything as long as they want to. And people REALLY want to believe that they'll live forever next to a kind and loving god.

Because you and your opinions even matter (instrinsic value) proves that God is real. He created you in his image and the only other option for you to believe is the post-modern philosophy that you don't really matter at all and that truth is subjective and these words are meaningless.

The suprising fact in morality debates is that the issue always raised by people and about people so morality bears witness that we are worth something. The question I ask you is whether or not evil is real. If evil is real then good must also be real. If good is real then what is the source of this good? Can non-physical things evolve? Where did love come from?

So, your question is what proof is there of God, without using any proof? You exclude so many things, because you're uncomfortable with the fact that he exists, and that there's so much proof. Prove to me that math is legitamate, but don't use or refer to numbers. Prove to me that you are human, but don't use any reference to biology, anthropology, or any other form of science.

See how ridiculous it is to ask a question, and then try to artificially limit the answers using your own biases and flawed thinking?

Jesus Christ is proof that God exists. You have to either believe He is who He tells us He is or not. And what aboutHistorians against Jesus? What about historians against Christianity? What did their writings say? One of such anti-Christian mentality was Cornelius Tacitus, a Roman historian, senator, consul and governor of the province of Asia. Concerning Jesus and His followers, Tacitus wrote, "Nero…punished with every refinement the notoriously depraved Christians (as they were popularly called). Their originator, Christ, had been executed in Tiberius' reign by the governor of Judea, Pontius Pilate. But in spite of this temporary setback, the deadly superstition had broken out afresh, not only in Judea (where this mischief had started)
but even in Rome" (The Annals of Imperial Rome, XV, 44).

Julian the Apostate (called such because he rejected Christianity after being raised in it), a fourth-century emperor, wrote, "Jesus, whom you celebrate, was one of Caesar's subjects. If you dispute it, I will prove it by and by; but it may be as well done now. For yourselves allow, that he was enrolled with his father and mother in Cyrenius…But Jesus having persuaded a few among you, and those the worst of men, has now been celebrated about 300 years; having done nothing worthy of remembrance; unless anyone thinks it is a mighty matter to heal lame and blind people, and exorcise demoniacs in the villages of Bethsaida and Bethany" (Cyril Contra Julian, VI, 191, 213).

These are just two quotes from pagan Roman scholars who loathed Christianity. Since these men had access to government records, and hated what Christians believed and stood for, they could have easily "disproved" and discredited the existence of Christ if they so wished. But, because they could not do such a thing, their writings only add to the monumental proof of the life of Christ.

What about the Jewish people? If Christ did not exist, how then could the Jews reject Him? In his book Antiquities of the Jews, Jewish historian Flavius Josephus writes about Jesus, His disciples and John the Baptist. He referred to John as "the good man" (XVIII, 5, 2).

Modern-day scholars recognize Josephus' account of the death of James, "the brother of Jesus who was called Christ" (XX, 9, 1), as genuine.

The Jewish Encyclopedia (1907 edition) explains that Jesus is also mentioned in the Talmud, the Jewish tradition consisting of the Mishnah and the Gemara. These references to Christ are found in the sections Shabbath 104b and 116b; Sanhedrin 43a, 67a and 107b; and Sotah 47a.

You may want to read an article entitled "Jesus of Nazareth," from The Jewish Encyclopedia (1907), the articles "Jesus Christ" and "Talmud and Midrash" from The New Encyclopedia Britannica (1981), or the article "Jesus" in the Encyclopedia Judaica for more background concerning this subject. These sources offer valuable information regarding the many proofs of the life of Christ. They point to the immutable facts that He: was born of a virgin, was of Jewish nationality, preached the gospel, healed the sick and diseased, and was betrayed and brutally slaughtered.

There is no other proof. Very soon you will see Him.

Rev 1:7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

EVERY EYE. That would not have been possible without worldwide TV and the World Wide Webb.
