Hi all, Hope everyone is doing well today. I saw my PM yesterday and we have decided to try some prolotherapy in my hip and lower back. I have had this procedure in the cervical area and it helped a lot. I got tremendous relief but I have never had this in the lurabar spine and I am wondering if anyone else has had this procedure and what is it like: pain recovery etc.. I guess I am the only one doing this?

I am planning on starting prolo on my neck, how many sessions did you have. I have read a lot about it and it makes sense to me. I would think having it on the back would be about the same. Please keep us posted.

I had my first treatment on my neck about 2 years ago and it was a series of 3. it really really helped my neck but I do want to tell you it HURTS and you will be sore a few days afterward but then you will start feeling better. I joked with my partner Doug that that the doctor is probably thinking, oh you think you know pain now ... and of course there was no where to go but up from there. I like that there are no drugs injected into you. They use a glucose solution that stimulates collagen and helps repair some degenerative material.
