hi, one of my mates has acquired a Sanyo Pro X SVGA Projector from where he works, it was bolted to a bracket hanging from the works ceiling, when the bracket dropped out the roof dropping to the floor with projector attached. his works classed it as a write off.
The projector has a cracked case to the left side ( lense side) where i presume it took most of the blow, the main board on top seems pritty fine, iv had a look for cracks, missing capacitors/ resistors all seems fine. the projector powers up, but nothing is being projected out of the bulb..the lense isnt cracked
could it just be replacing the bulb? or could it be something else
i honestly dont have a clue how projectors work, so any help would be great!
