Proffesional photographers say they loved my photos and might use some of them?

Had a photo shoot 2day with my family at a proffesional photographers, they said the images were lovely and said they might use some of them. Should they ask permission and if they do use some of my pics do we get some sort of freebies?
Well surely you dont know if they are just saying that! I'm asking shouldnt i get any for them using my photos? I never signed anything saying i consent to them using my photos
 
The photographer is just strokin' you because they hope it will sell more prints. They say that to all their customers.


When you signed the form they already had permission to use them.

If you never signed anything then they will need to get written permission from you to use them outside of the scope of the session. You can negotiate compensation at that time.
