Professor reccomended me to move up in english composition class?

I just started college as a freshman. We had to write an essay for 45 minutes for her to see how good we are at writing, and what we should work on. At the end of class, she pulled me and 2 others aside and said we were exceptional writers and that she is going to reccomend us to move from cop 107 to comp 110.

If i moved up a course, does this mean im saving time and money? because id have to eventually take the course anyway. Do you think it's benficial for me?
