My fiance is very close with his mother, and not in that momma's boy way, but in way that his mother's opinions are highly valued by him and myself. We respect her and we feel that we can tell her things without experiencing any kind of judgement. I think that it would be a really neat idea for my fiance to honor his and his mother's relationship by him exscorting her to her seat and then, taking his place with the minister. That way they can kind of have a moment, much like the father does when he walks the bride down the isle. Thoughts on this?
