Problems with time change

So did anyone get their phone to do the time change. My Dell Streak (2.2) on Rogers is a no. Have to change time setting to Manual.

I am beginning to think that Android is a multi problem platform. So many things just don't work well, and others just don't work.

Second phone (first was Sony X10). All the same problems. This platform is starting to make all others look good.

i've noticed they don't keep time very well unless you rely on the cell towers, i'm using clock sync now that syncs with a time server.

My galaxy s 4g date changed without a problem.

no. you set how often it runs, on boot, on wifi, every 3, 6, 12 hours etc
