Problems with text-messaging ...

I recently bought a Nokia 2600 classic(apperantly it's called Nokia 2600 ATT in the USA) and i am having some trouble with text-messaging . I upgraded from a Nokia 6030 which had a diffrent text-messaging interface then the 2600 but he also asked for confirmation of you wanted to send a text-message , I allready send like 50 message's which had no text in it cause I am used to double clicking the "OK" button , is there any way I can turn on the confirmation ?

well i guess you have to be patient on it ..i dont have that kind of cellphone here I am using nokia E63 and not familiar with 2600 or 6030..
