So I have used Photoshop CS2 on my desktop computer before I had a crash, before it worked like a angel, and it works on my laptop perfectly as well. But after reinstalling windows back 3 times after the crash, I thought all was good, but after installing PS CS2 back, It freezes, when loading the program or photo and doing work on photos. I change the prefences to feed PhotoShop CS2 all my memory to get it to work and nothing, it still freezes, also change the image cache. So I borrowed my friends copy of PhotoShop CS4 and it acts the same on desktop computer as CS2... it freezes... I am not sure what to do now, I ran out of ideas on how to solve the problem. I have googled so many times to find answers for other problems except for mine, I know my computer can handle this program, because it use to work before, here are my specs.
Operating System: Windows XP Professional SP2
Processor: Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.00GHz (2 CPUs)
Memory: 4GB RAM
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GT 512.0 MB
Shouldn't it be enough? Could someone please give me some advice/help on what to do. and if your wondering, the program is real not pirated, bought a while back from my cousin.
Here's a link to what I am seeing http://img83.imageshack.us/img83/7242/2mouzno.jpg
