i have a 05 kawi 636 and recently ive been experiencing problems with my chain or wheel area..... ive noticed that there is a sort of grinding noise coming from that area... i rode it on the highway with a buddy of mine on another bike and he told me the chain seemed to be jumping up and down a bit too much.... ive already adjusted the chain and all that ... what could it be??? could the wheel barrings cause that ??? thanks
the keep the fingers out of the chain part didnt workk.... haha.. i caught my finger in there and smashed it... but yeah...so it could be a worn out chain??

If you need to take a link out of your chain, then the chain is worn out. Shortening the chain will only wear your sprockets, requiring you to buy a new chain AND sprockets.

Put the bike on the centerstand, turn the rear wheel and see if the chain tightens and then loosens. If so, then a few links of the chain are probably binding, either because it's rusted or so badly worn. Whatever you do, keep your fingers out of the chain and sprocket!!
